As a self-labeled archaeology nerd, I practically jumped up and down when, on only my fourth day in Peru, the ground decided to visit Pachacamac.

Located 40km south-east of Lima, Pachacamac is perhaps one of the most interesting and influential religious and ceremonial sites in Peru.
